Heat Take Control Late to Beat Lakers

Los Angeles, Calif. - Keshad Johnson and Alondes Williams each scored 21 points as the Miami Heat took control late to beat the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Summer League on Thursday night.

The Heat trailed by five points with less than four minutes remaining, but Johnson and Williams combined to score the final 12 points of the game to give Miami the win.

Johnson hit a pair of three-pointers in the final minutes, while Williams scored on a layup and two free throws.

The Lakers were led by Wenyen Gabriel, who had 23 points and 10 rebounds. Talen Horton-Tucker added 20 points for Los Angeles.

The Heat improved to 2-1 in Summer League play, while the Lakers fell to 1-2.
